- Pulse Master Zhang Wei Yen — internationally recognized for his extraordinary sensitivity and diagnostic accuracy through pulse reading. Dr. McIndoe trained under Master Zhang in Taiwan, including a hands-on internship at his clinic, refining the pulse diagnosis skills that now form the foundation of his clinical precision.
- The late (great) Dr. Richard Tan Teh Fu — founder of the Balance Method, one of the most influential acupuncture systems in the world. Dr. McIndoe spent time at Dr. Tan’s clinic and in his home, learning directly from him and gaining invaluable insight into balancing meridians for powerful and immediate therapeutic results.
Expert in Pulse Diagnosis
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, pulse diagnosis is one of the most advanced and difficult skills to master. It is often regarded as the highest expression of diagnostic art. Mastery requires years of focused study, sensitivity, and clinical experience. Practitioners learn to feel subtle pulse qualities that reveal the body’s internal state and balance.
For Dr. McIndoe, pulse diagnosis is central to his clinical approach. He draws on decades of experience and training under world-renowned pulse masters. Over time, he has developed his own refined style of pulse interpretation. This method helps him diagnose with accuracy and use the pulse as real-time feedback during treatment. By reading the pulse throughout each session, he can see how the body responds and adjust his technique instantly. In this way, Dr. McIndoe turns pulse diagnosis into a living dialogue with the body—one that guides precise, immediate, and lasting healing.
