Alex Nielson, RMT | Restorative Massage Therapy in Kelowna
Alex Nielson, RMT, is a dedicated massage therapist in Kelowna who is passionate about helping clients feel more connected, supported, and balanced in their bodies. A graduate of the First College Registered Massage Therapy program, Alex brings a thoughtful, patient-centred approach to care. Her background in hiking, biking, yoga, paddleboarding, and exploring the outdoors with her dog has shaped her appreciation for movement—and her belief that meaningful healing often begins with reconnecting to how the body feels and functions each day.
An Integrative, Supportive Approach to Care
Alex’s treatments combine myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, guided breathing, and gentle stretching techniques. Her goal is to create a calm, grounding environment where clients can release tension, reduce pain, and experience greater ease of movement.
She also incorporates homecare strategies—such as simple exercises, mindful breathing, and personalized movement practices—to help clients maintain progress between sessions and build confidence in their body’s ability to heal.
Alex works with a wide range of individuals and adapts each session to her clients’ needs, whether they are seeking pain relief, stress reduction, improved mobility, or simply a quiet moment to reset. She understands that massage therapy supports both physical and mental well-being, and she values the opportunity to help clients feel more balanced, resilient, and at home in their bodies.
Connection & Well-Being
Connection, presence, and genuine care guide Alex’s work as a massage therapist. She strives to create a space where clients feel supported, listened to, and able to unwind fully. Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys reading and traveling—interests that continue to expand her curiosity, empathy, and appreciation for diverse experiences.
Her treatments offer a restorative, grounded experience—helping clients ease tension, calm the nervous system, and reconnect with their body’s natural capacity for healing.
